Under the supervision of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and in alignment with the Diocesan Strategic Plan which is focused on the sustainability of Catholic schools, Mater Dei High School seeks a new President and visionary leader. Through direct oversight of school business and advancement operations, the next President will be responsible for collaboratively guiding the school in financial stability, operational vitality, and mission effectiveness.
The Diocese of Orange will lead the search for the next president of the school. The position is available July 2021.
Since its founding in 1950, Mater Dei High School has grown in programs, facilities, and reputation to be counted among the premier Catholic high schools in the United States. Today it is positioned for even greater growth. Mater Dei High School is a high performing Diocesan Catholic high school serving 2,136 students in grades 9-12 and operates in the President/Principal model. The next President will be an active and engaged Catholic who understands and is committed to the mission of Catholic education in a Diocesan context. Mater Dei welcomes candidates who are established experienced leaders as well as promising “rising stars” with proven leadership qualities who are ready to step up and guide this outstanding school into the future.
